Le nom des Vardules, présumés ancêtres des actuels Guipuzcoans, est ici soumis à un analyse linguistique qui passe en revue les diverses origines proposées pour l’étymologie du nom ainsi que leurs implications historiques.Through a linguistic analysis of the name Varduli (the ancient people of Guipuzcoa) this paper examines different hypotheses as to the etymology of the name and their historical implications
