Abstract

Objective: Propose the creation of a human milk bank in the Neonatology Service “Dr. José de Jesús Avendaño” of the IAHULA. Method: The research was approached from the positivist-quantitative paradigm; non-experimental, descriptive design, focused on a proposal, assuming the feasible project, was supported by field research in the diagnostic phase; IAHULA health professionals were considered, as well as lactating mothers who were in the Neonatology Service. Results: The design of the proposal was carried out and the feasibility was evaluated. Conclusions: it was determined that the proposal is feasible to be applied in the study context.http://www.doi.org/10.53766/GICOS/2022.07.03.04Objetivo: Proponer la creación de un banco de leche humana en el Servicio de Neonatología “Dr. José de Jesús Avendaño” del IAHULA. Método: La investigación se abordó desde el paradigma positivista-cuantitativo; diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo, se centró en una propuesta, asumiendo el proyecto factible, se apoyó en una investigación de campo en la fase diagnóstica; se consideraron profesionales de la salud del IAHULA, así como las madres lactantes que se encontraban en el Servicio de Neonatología. Resultados: Se realizó el diseño de la propuesta y se evaluó la factibilidad.
