This study aims to determine the contributions made by the different professionals
in Library Studies, in Argentina, especially those concerning information management, in areas such as organization and handling. The search was carried
on in the existing publications in the field of librarianship and documentation,.
using as data source for the analysis the journal REFERENCIAS, published by the Graduate Librarians Association of the Republica Argentina. A domain
analysis of such data was made, applying bibliometric techniques and the behavior study of the quantifiable variables. This paper publishes the results of
the first stage of the research
