Abstract
The relationship beetwen the degree of scientific development reached by Cuba during the pre revolutionary period and the lack of antecedents on informational scientific activities during this period was studied. The priority given to the national scientific activity after the triumph of the revolution was established and some influences arising from informatics and informational sciences in informational scientific activities during the last four decades of the last century in Cuba were analyzed
