Among the fragments of manuscripts kept in the Diocesan Archives of Girona,
there is a bifolium containing liturgical indications for the period between Dominica
in Quinquagesima and Dominica Prima Quadragesimae, as well as part
of those for Good Friday. It was part of a liturgical directory that may be dated in
the second half of 13th cent. and that coincides in a very evident way with the
textes in the Girona Cathedral costumary of 1360 (ACG, ms. 9). Therefore, it is
probably an adaptation for parish uses of an earlier -and now lost- cathedral

Quinquagèsima al I Diumenge de Quaresma, i part de les del Divendres Sant.
Formava part d'un directori litúrgic que pot datar-se a la segona meitat del segle
XIII i que coincideix de manera molt evident amb els textos de la consueta de
1360 de la seu de Girona (ACG, ms. 9). Probablement, per tant, pertangué a una
adaptació per a usos parroquials d'una consueta catedralícia més antiga i
desapareguda
