Biological features of strains of two species of fungus of the genus Beauveria of Northern Eurasia

Abstract

We analyzed sequences of one of the most phylogenetically informative loci, the intergenic locus B (bloc) for 175 Beauveria isolates originating from a wide latitudinal Two taxa at the species level were revealed: Beauveria bassiana associated mainly with steppe and forest steppe zones and Beauveria pseudobassiana associated with forest zones. Heat tolerance and virulence of B. bassiana isolates were significantly higher as compared to B. pseudobassiana.Работа выполнена при финансовой поддержке МОН РК (проект 055)
