Abstract

Chapter I of this study presents a brief review of the appearance and expansion of the Asian IPN phenomenon, followed by a literature survey that explores key drivers of this phenomenon from theoretical perspectives. Theories point to important conditions that countries must meet in order to be successfully integrated into IPNs.
