INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATION CONFERENCE Northeastern University Boston, 
Massachusetts APRIL 4-5, 2003 Announcing the launch of the International Industrial Organization Conference, 
sponsored by the Industrial Organization Society and its affiliated journal, The Review of Industrial Organization. This 
2003 Conference will be held April 4-5, 2003, on the campus of Northeastern University, located in the heart of 
Boston, Massachusetts. The Program will run from 12 Noon, Friday, April 4 until 6 p.m., Saturday, April 5. The 
International Industrial Organization Conference will include keynote speakers, panel discussions, and contributed 
sessions on all topics and from all perspectives of industrial organization. The Program Committee is chaired by Lars-
Hendrik Roeller, F.M. Scherer, and Christopher Snyder, and also includes Nancy Rose, John Scott and Xavier Vives. 
Local arrangements in Boston are being coordinated by Sara Fisher Ellison, John Kwoka (chair), and John Mayo. 
Conference finance matters are being handled by Kenneth Boyer, Robert Feinberg (chair), and Sharon Oster. 
SUBMISSIONS: Paper: If you wish your paper to be considered for the program, please submit (by mail or email: see 
below) a one-page proposal. This should consist of the title and abstract of the paper, together with the following 
information on all authors: Name, affiliation, postal address, email address, and telephone and fax numbers. Session: A 
complete session consists of three or four papers, discussants, and a chair. If you have a complete session that you 
would like to be considered for the program, please submit (by mail or email: see below) a packet consisting of a cover 
sheet plus a page on each paper. The cover sheet should include the session title and a brief description of its theme, 
your name, affiliation, postal address, email address, and telephone and fax numbers. The page on each paper should 
contain the information noted above under “Papers.” Also provide full information on the session chair and 
discussants. Deadlines: The deadline for submission is December 1, 2002. Decisions will be made by January 15,
