E E F S European Economics and Finance Society Call for papers The Sixth Annual EEFS Conference, will be held in 
Sofia, Bulgaria on 31st May – 3rd June 2007 hosted by the University of National and World Economy The topic of 
the Conference will be on: European and Global Integration: Underlying Causes, Issues Arising and Formulating 
Economic Policies The Conference will focus on the European and Global Integration and the challenges to formulate 
economic policies addressing effectively issues arising from the process of economic integration. Paper Submission 
Abstracts of papers and/or session proposals should be submitted electronically by January 20th, 2007 to the scientific 
committee of the conference as attached files (doc or pdf format) at the following address: eefs@eap.gr Abstracts of 
no more than 200 words should contain JEL classification codes. The authors'' full name, affiliation, address, 
phone/fax, and e-mail for correspondence should also be indicated. An entire paper may be submitted, when available, 
but it must include an abstract. Proposals for complete sessions are also encouraged. Each session should be made up 
of three papers. In the submitted proposals, session organizers should indicate the name of the session chair, the 
names, affiliations, contact numbers and e-mail addresses of the authors and the chair, the titles of the papers each 
accompanied by the paper abstract. We welcome theoretical, empirical and policy-issues papers. Participants are 
expected to serve as programme chair at the Conference sessions. Authors whose papers are selected for the 
conference should send an electronic copy of the final version of their paper by April 1st 2007 in order to upload on 
time their paper on the website of the conference. Papers should not exceed a maximum of 20 pages. The conference 
web address is at http://www.eefs.org/ where you will find information regarding the Conference Programme, 
recommended accommodation and maps/instructions as well as information about the European Economics and 
Finance Society (EEFS). Conference Fee: The Conference fee is € 190. It covers access to all sessions, a welcome 
reception on the evening of 31st May, lunch and dinner for two days, conference breaks and conference material. 
Conference fees will not cover the participation to the voluntary excursion planned on 3rd June, charged at an 
additional €60. The research student fee is €120 (a covering letter of proof of research student status is required either 
from your supervisor or the head of your department). Location: The conference will take place at the University of
