Dear colleague: It is a pleasure for us to invite you to submit your work to the “I Workshop on Economics, Disability 
and Employment” organized by the Spanish Applied Economics Society (ASEPELT ESPAÑA) in collaboration with 
ONCE. The workshop will take place in Madrid (Spain) on the 16th of November 2007. The Workshop is open to all 
involved in economic research related to disability, including both young and experienced researchers, post-doctoral 
students and professionals. The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas among economists and 
non-economists. Both theoretical and empirical papers analysing disability from an economic point of view are 
welcome. PUBLICATION OF PAPERS After the conference and the refereeing process, it will be published a book 
with all papers presented at the workshop. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Researchers wishing to present a paper have 
to submit an ABSTRACT before 15th July 2007 to ccalc@once.es with the following information: · Title · Abstract 
(no more than 300 words) · Authors'' full name and affiliation · Contact details for all the authors (address, telephone 
number, fax and email) The FINAL VERSION of the paper should be submitted to the same email address before 
15th September 2007. Papers must be in English or Spanish and should not exceed 25 pages (double space) including 
all references and tables. SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE will review and select papers and sessions submitted for the 
Conference. Acceptance letters will be sent out by e-mail 22nd October 2007. PAPERS MUST BE SENT TO: 
ccalc@once.es. We look forward seeing you in Madrid. THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE Please, feel free to share 
this information among those colleagues you think might be interested in the "Call for papers". Finally, excuse us for
