Economics Department of the University of São Paulo announces the First Brazilian Workshop of the Game Theory 
Society, a satellite meeting of the Latin American Meeting of the Econometric Society (FGV/SP, São Paulo, July 24- 
27, 2002). The workshop is sponsored by the Game Theory Society and will offer the participants the opportunity to 
interact with some of the most productive researchers in Game Theory. The week-long event will consist of mini-
courses, plenary sessions and contributed papers sessions. Articles in all areas of Game Theory and Applications are
