La paradoja del crecimiento frente al objetivo básico financiero: generación de valor en las empresas

Abstract

De forma generalizada se ha considerado el incremento de ingresos como la fórmula más acertada para el logro del cumplimiento del objetivo básico financiero en las empresas, los directivos y gerentes por lo general presentan como un gran logro de su gestión el crecimiento alcanzado por la empresa en cada periodo, bien sea en el campo del mercadeo, desde el punto de vista de ingresos, de infraestructura y nivel de operación, o en cualquier otra manifestación que pueda darse; de igual forma se presenta como el principal propósito al momento de elaboración de presupuestos en términos porcentuales o absolutos, haciendo pensar que entre mayor sea el incremento de ingresos proyectado, mayor será la exigencia y el compromiso de quien está prometiendo su cumplimiento. Pero ante esta generalidad surgen algunos interrogantes en torno al objetivo básico financiero y al gran propósito generalizado de crecimiento: ¿es claro cúal es el objetivo básico de las empresas desde el punto de vista financiero? y ¿es el crecimiento la forma como se da cumplimiento a este objetivo básico financiero?. / Abstract: Of generalized form the incomes increment as the wisest formula for the accomplishment achievement of the financier basic objective has been considered in the businesses, the directive and managers generally present as a great achievement of its management the growth reached by the business in each period, well be in trade field, since the point of view of incomes, of infrastructure and operation level, or in any another statement that can be given; of equal forms is presented as the main purpose to the budgets elaboration moment in percentage or absolute terms, doing to think that among greater be the increment of incomes projected, greater will be the demand and the commitment of whom is promising its fulfillment. But before this generality arise some questions around the financier basic objective and to the great purpose generalized of growth: ¿is clear which is the basic objective of the businesses since the financial point of view?
