We calculate the shape of the current pulse in an FCal-style electrode when the liquid argon in the gap is momentarily, uniformly illuminated with ionizing radiation. To zeroth order the FCal pulse is triangular. The first order correction adds a quadratic term a few percent of the triangle peak
