Con este trabajo de fin de grado se realiza una propuesta de programa que supone la mejora de los niños con Síndrome de Asperger a través de la terapia animal, centrándonos en Equinoterapia. Este proyecto se realizará íntegramente en un entorno de naturaleza, teniendo de esta manera un contacto mayor con la realidad desde una perspectiva educativa más individualizada, serena y cercana, lejos de las grandes clases de escuelas tradicionales con muchos libros y deberes y un solo profesor, en este proyecto se busca una alternativa educativa y se cuenta con personal especializado para mejorar la calidad de la terapia educacional.
Va dirigido a niños con Síndrome de Asperger de entre 11 y 12 años, que están en el tercer ciclo, 6º curso de educación primaria como una preparación para una mejor inclusión en la próxima etapa que les espera además de alcanzar pequeñas mejoras individuales.
El objetivo es aprovechar los beneficios que tienen para los niños con Síndrome de Asperger la terapia animal y la conexión con el entorno natural donde se sienten más comprendidos y plenos. Buscando de esta manera una labor educativa fuera de los límites físicos y teóricos de las escuelas, educando en diversidad para una equiparación de oportunidades en nuestra sociedad.The aim of this work is to expose the benefits of animal therapy on children suffering from Asperger Syndrome, focusing on equine therapy. This project will be fully carried out in a natural environment in order to have a more direct contact with reality adopting a more individualized, calm and friendly approach. The proposed method seeks for an alternative education relying on specialized personal in order to improve the quality of the education therapy, far away from traditional teaching methods based on books and homework.
The method is aimed to be used with children that are in the third period of their primary education (aging from 11 to 12) as a preparatory step for the following stage and to achieve personal improvement.
The aim is to reach small goals as well as building up a relationship based on confidence between the child and the monitors in order to make him feel comfortable. The child will be informed of the project in order to encourage him to participate by himself.
