This is to announce a conference on "Game Theory and its Applications" which will be held in Mumbai, India, from 
January 8 to 10, 2003 and will serve to launch the Indian affiliate of the Game Theory Society. The earlier external 
organizing committee, consisting of Robert J. Aumann, Pradeep Dubey and Sylvain Sorin, has delegated authority to a 
new committee: Pradeep Dubey, Ehud Kalai and Nicolas Vieille. The deadline for papers is September 30, 2002, 
though we strongly urge earlier submissions. They should be emailed in pdf format to Pradeep Dubey or Nicolas 
Vieille We are putting up general information on our website http://ms.cc.sunysb.edu/~pdubey/Mumbai.html Thanks 
to the Indian Hotel Company, who are our main sponsors, we expect to organize accommodation at subsidized (if not 
zero) cost. They will also recommend travel agents and put together various sight-seeing packages. All this information 
will be posted on our website very soon.
