ATDRSS 300 MB/S modem program

Abstract

The 300 Mbps modem was developed for direct application to the next generation high data rate Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) communication system. This modem utilizes continuous phase modulation combined with a restricted range Reed-Solomon Codec to achieve a bandwidth efficiency of 3 bits/sec/hz.
