Projeto urbano e novas territorialidades: o caso de Itá, Santa Catarina, Brasil

Abstract

O desenvolvimento da cidade de Itá constitui um processo inusitado pois16 mil pessoas foram deslocadas de onde viviam e relocadas em outra área definida por um projeto urbano desenvolvido pela equipe da Hidroelétrica de Itá que teve sua construção iniciada em 1967 e gerou um lago artificial inundando a cidade original em 2000. Essa pesquisa foca a antiga cidade Itá, oprojeto implementado em 1989e sua configuração urbana atual. Indicadores já existentes e testados em diversos casos reais serão utilizados para obter um quadro seguro dos dados levantados e permitirão comparar as três fases do sistema urbano elencadas para o estudo. Além da questão da evolução da configuração espacial e forma urbana, também serão estudados quais os impactos socioeconômicos causados pela implementação da hidrelétrica sobre a população da cidade de Itá e Região, e o desenvolvimento urbano posterior.The city's development of Itá is an unusual case because 16,000 people were displaced from where they lived and relocated in another area defined by an urban project developed by the team of Hydroelectric Itá which started construction in 1967 and generated an artificial lake flooding original city in 2000. This research focuses on the ancient city Itá, the project implemented in 1989 and its current urban setting. Existing indicators and tested in many real cases will be used to obtain a secure and the data collected will compare the three phases of the urban system listed for the study.
