Las fuentes que los autores citan son un reflejo de
la disciplina a la que pertenecen. La bibliometría demuestra
que en la literatura científica hay leyes estadísticas
que se mantienen a lo largo del tiempo. En
este artículo estudiamos las citas de los 1185 artículos
de las 15 ediciones con actas de las Jenui (1997
– 2011). Buscamos entender mejor cómo trabajan
los autores de las Jenui y cómo son las Jornadas en
sí. Los resultados muestran que, con sus particularidades,
el comportamiento de las Jenui se ajusta a su
tipología como congreso.SUMMARY -- The sources authors use reflect the area they come
from. Bibliometry proves that in the scientific literature
you can find laws based on a regular statistic behavior
that are stationary with time. In this paper we
present a bibliometric study of the references in the
1185 papers published in Jenui from 1997 through
2011. Our goal is to understand better how Jenui authors’
work and the characteristics of the symposium
itself. The results show that, with its own particularities,
Jenui’s behavior corresponds to its symposium
