利用共生物尿酸氧化酵素基因研究稻蝨科昆蟲體內類酵母共生物之生理功能(I)

Abstract
昆蟲與微生物之互利共生(mutualism)現象在昆蟲界中非常普遍,特別是同翅目昆蟲體內幾乎都有共生物之存在。在對於蚜蟲及飛蝨體內之共生物系統學研究中,已証實共生物與寄主間存在共同演化之關係,而共生物在寄主體內主要的功能就是為寄主昆蟲合成營養或代謝廢物,其中共生物之尿酸氧化酵素基因已經証實是存在於共生物上之基因,可為寄主褐飛蝨(Nilaparvata lugens)代謝尿酸,但其詳細功能並未明瞭。本研究擬藉由原位雜合瞭解尿酸氧化酵素基因之表現位置,並利用免疫螢光及免疫金染色之組織學觀察,瞭解尿酸氧化酵素之作用位置及傳遞方式;進一步嘗試以RNAi 抑制或阻斷尿酸氧化酵素之表現,研究尿酸氧化酵素對蟲體生長發育及體內氨基酸組成之影響,探討共生物尿酸氧化酵素對於褐飛蝨之生理功能
