Study on thermal characteristics for power LED arc-array system

Abstract

为准确计算lEd光场以及内部温度场的分布,结合有限体积数值模拟、非成像光学方法建立了单个lEd光学以及热学模型,并通过实验测试证实模型的有效性。在此基础上,采用能量叠加原理讨论了lEd弧面阵列系统目标平面区域的照度分布,得到了在特定距离的目标平面上均匀的照度分布。通过对复合型散热器系统结构中散热通道内钉柱与翅片的位置尺寸、基板厚度和器件间距的优化设计,增强了热交换效果。In this paper,the optical and thermal model of a single LED is established with finite volume thermal simulation method and non-imaging optics to accurately calculate the optical field and temperature field distributions.Experiments are conducted to confirm the validity of the model.Then the luminous intensity distribution on the target plane of the LED arc-array system is discussed by energy superposition theory,and the uniform illumination can be obtained on the target plane at a certain distance.Furthermore,the sices of fins and pins of the composite heatsink,the base thickness and component spacing are optimized for heat convection enhancement.福建省科技计划重点项目(2011H0021;2011H6025;2012H0039);福建省自然科学基金(2011J05162);福建省教育厅A类科技项目(JA11175);漳州师范学院科学研究(SJ1017)资助项
