作为我国第一批经济特区和海峡西岸经济区的龙头城市之一,厦门市在外来员工社会保障的制度建设、项目实施及技术手段上一直敢于先行先试,从保险种类、缴费比例等方面不断缩小外来员工与本市户籍职工社会保障待遇的差距,形成了独具特色的“厦门模式“。本文从四个方面概括了“厦门模式“的特点,并结合统计数据对其实施成效作了分析,最后提出相应的政策建议。中央高校基本科研业务费项目“海峡西岸经济区发展研究报告”(项目编号:2011231042);教育部哲学社会科学发展报告资助项目“海峡西岸经济区发展研究报告”(项目编号:11JBGP006)部分研究成
