miR-144 regulates stemness and proliferation of breast cancer cells

Abstract

乳腺癌是当今世界发病率和死亡率较高的肿瘤之一,是女性健康的头号杀手。由于肿瘤干细胞的存在,其耐药性使得大多数乳腺癌药物治疗效果均不显著,存在复发的隐患。因此了解乳腺癌发生发展机制,进一步阐释乳腺肿瘤干细胞维持自我更新的分子机制,将有利于发现新的有效药物靶点。 作为一类参与转录后基因表达调控的非编码RNA分子,miRNA已被证实在多种肿瘤的发生发展过程中起到了重要的调控作用。本研究通过临床样本检测发现,相对于正常乳腺组织,miR-144在乳腺癌样本中高表达。我们通过生物信息学分析发现在三个受到miR-144直接调控的靶基因,其中Sall1能调控肿瘤细胞干性,而Fat4和ST18则是与增殖相关。...In modern world, breast cancer is the leading offender of female due to its high incidence and mortality.
