Study on Enhancement of Self-Q-Switched Cr,Yb:YAG Lasers by Bonding Yb:YAG

Abstract

激光二极管泵浦的被动调Q固体激光器是一种可以实现短脉冲、高峰值功率、高重复频率脉冲激光输出的全固态激光器,具有效率高、小型化、寿命长和性能稳定等优点,在激光加工、激光点火、激光测距和高效非线性转化等领域有着广泛的应用潜力和前景。本文首先介绍了激光二极管泵浦被动调Q固体激光器的应用前景,然后介绍了激光二极管泵浦被动调Q固体激光器的发展历程和掺Yb3+离子激光材料用作被动调Q激光工作物质的优点与研究进展。分析了Cr,Yb:YAG自调Q激光器的研究成果和存在的问题,结合对Yb:YAG材料与Cr,Yb:YAG晶体的光学性能分析和连续激光性能的研究,首次提出了利用Yb:YAG材料强化Cr,Yb:YAG自...Laser-diode (LD) pumped passively Q-switched solid-state lasers are highly efficient, stable and compact lasers with short pulse width, high peak power as well as high repetition rate, and have potential applications in laser processing, laser ignition, LIDAR, efficient nonlinear conversion, and so on.
