生态足迹是一组基于土地面积的量化指标，是度量可持续发展的新方法。旅游生态足迹是生态足迹理论在旅游研究中的应用。本文基于旅游者的生态消费和结构特征，构建了旅游交通、住宿、餐饮、购物、娱乐、游览等旅游生态足迹计算子模型，进行定性定量分析。通过计算2008年湄洲岛旅游生态足迹，在理论和实践上对湄洲岛的旅游可持续发展进行了研究，并提出具有针对性的建议。 本文共分四个部分进行论述：第一部分从选题背景与意义入手，提出了研究方法和技术路线；第二部分从理论着眼，重点论述旅游生态足迹等相关理论；第三部分进行实证研究，以湄洲岛为对象，计算其2008年的旅游生态足迹；第四部分总结建议，对结果进行详细分析，提出湄洲...As a new method of measuring sustainable development, ecological footprint (EF) refers to the quantitative quota based on land areas.
