Studies on Larval Feeding Ecophysiology of Ivory Shell, Babylonia areolata Link

Abstract

方斑东风螺是我国东南沿海重要的海水经济贝类,近年来养殖规模日益增大,苗种供不应求。开展方斑东风螺幼体摄食的生理生态研究具有较大的理论意义和应用价值。为研究方斑东风螺幼体摄食适宜的光照条件,我们设计了实验讨论了光照强度对幼体活力和摄食的影响,以及光照周期对幼体摄食节律的影响。以太阳光作光源,观察方斑东风螺幼体分别在15、150、1500和11700lx等光强条件下的活力状况,结果显示幼体沉底率与光照强度呈“S”型曲线关系。以日光灯作光源,光照强度对摄食率影响的两次实验结果显示,0-10000lx光照强度范围内,摄食率随光照强度增强而升高(P<0.05),但在光照强度超过2000lx时摄食率不稳定...The Babylonia areolata larvae were observed in such conditions as 15, 150, 1500, 11700 lx with sunlight as illumination source.
