学籍信息管理是高校重要的日常管理工作之一，学籍信息管理的质量和效率直接关系到学校的信息化建设和发展。尤其是进入21世纪，学籍信息呈现出个人信息多样性和学生数量剧增的情况，从而要求学籍信息管理系统能够支持更多的功能，以及更强的数据处理能力。面对当前出现的问题，我校的旧教务信息管理系统显得极其单薄，无法满足教学改革需要。本文结合厦门大学学籍信息管理系统的新需求及特点，论述了作者在该系统设计和开发过程中参与的工作和研究内容。 新的学籍管理系统支持更多的功能模块，其中作者所涉及的系统功能模块主要包含：学生基本信息管理子模块、异动管理子模块、分专业管理子模块、辅修管理子模块、转专业管理子模块、毕业管理...The student status management system is the universities’ major routine.
