Development and Modification Study of Polymer Optical waveguide thin films

Abstract

近年来,随着光通信和集成光学研究的飞速发展,薄膜光波导被广泛应用于光无源器件和集成光路中,利用它可以完成开关、调制、复接等许多光作用,各种光集成结构都是围绕光波导而展开的,光波导制备的技术也由于薄膜光波导的广泛应用而飞速发展。聚合物波导因为制作工艺简单、价格低廉、容易和半导体器件和光纤集成等优点,将在上述领域发挥巨大的作用。因此,研制成本低且性能优良的聚合物薄膜及其光波导,对于聚合物薄膜光波导及其器件的研究和实用化有着重要的理论意义和实践意义。本文简述了平面光波导理论和平面光波导材料的研究现况,并比较了各种平面光波导制备工艺的特性,特别详细地介绍了溶胶-凝胶法制备薄膜的特点及其工艺流程。论文工...Recently, with the great development of research in optical communication and integrated-optics, optical waveguide thin films are applied widely in the optical passive device and optical integrated-circuit, which can implement many optical functions including switching, modulating and compound-meeing etc..
