种群的年龄结构、空间分布格局和生态位是种群生态学研究的重要研究内容。同时丹霞地貌这一特殊的环境是很多珍稀植物的避难所，泰宁丹霞景观区域就是我国特有的二级保护植物长叶榧树（TorreyajackiiChun.）集中分部地之一。本文通过调查及一些种群生态学的研究方法，对泰宁丹霞景观区域长叶榧树群丛类型、种群的年龄结构、丹霞景观区内山地果场长叶榧树的空间分布格局以及长叶榧树所在群落乔木层主要种群生态位进行了研究。结果表明： 1.长叶榧树在泰宁丹霞景观区主要分布于亚热带暖性针叶林和针阔混交林的14个群丛类型中：长叶榧树―海金子―阔叶山麦冬群丛、长叶榧树―小叶六道木―长梗黄精群丛、长叶榧树―黄杨―黄花...The age structre, the spatial distribution and the niche of the population are the important aspects of the research of population ecology.
