学术界关于“学衡派”文学理论思想系统性的研究长期缺失，本文以《学衡》杂志原典为基础，通过“学衡派”研究资料的梳理，试图整理出“学衡派”文学理论思想体系，揭示其古典主义文学理论的现代意义。 二十世纪初“新文化运动”中的“学衡派”，以美国新人文主义思想为基础，构建了一套古典主义文学理论体系：以“个体完善”为文学宗旨，推崇中庸、节制、适度的古典美学法则，维护文言文的美学价值，坚持古体诗歌的合法地位；提倡文学创作的摹仿理论，反对文学作品中过度的情感泛滥，要求遵循规范与纪律的理性控制；培养适度中庸的道德观，以寻求人格健康独立。他们崇尚普世性、超越性、精英主义的人文主义精神，批判过度的物质主义与科学主义...The systematic research of classicalism literature theory about XueHeng School is long in need of China academic study.
