Effects of calcium depletion caused by acid deposition on several forest tree species in southern China

Abstract

随着经济的高速发展,SO2和NOx排放急剧增加,酸沉降问题日益严重,并且在将来很长一段时间内都是我国难以回避的重要环境问题。 在北美和欧洲的许多长期观测研究认为酸雨导致森林生态系统营养元素大量流失,特别是钙(Ca)的流失是酸雨导致森林衰退的一个重要的原因。但由于中国酸沉降具有高Ca2+含量的特点,沉降通量较欧美地区高出几倍到几十倍,因此目前对中国森林生态系统中Ca流失所带来的影响及危害还研究的不多。 本研究项目通过野外观测和室内模拟控制实验,较为系统的研究了中国主要的森林植物物种在酸沉降下的响应,发现酸沉降下植物体内Ca的流失情况与植物的酸雨敏感性间具有较为普适性的内在联系,其主要结论如下...Along with rapid economic development, the significant SO2 and NOx emissions from fossil-fuel consumption have greatly increased in the past decades.
