Mechanism of Low Chalkiness Formation for High-quality Early Indica Rice Cultivar Jiafuzhan

Abstract

垩白是稻米胚乳中白色不透明的部分,是稻米品质的重要指标之一。佳辐占是本研究室育成的垩白粒率和垩白度接近0%的高产稳产优质早籼稻新品种,已在福建省累计推广面积850多万亩,其垩白性状遗传稳定、受环境影响很微小,但其低垩白形成机制尚不清楚。因此,本研究在前人垩白研究的基础上,选用垩白粒率和垩白度接近100%的广陆矮4号为对照,在籽粒发育不同时期从细胞学、生理生化和蛋白质组学的角度研究佳辐占稻米低垩白形成机理,冀为稻米品质改良、减少垩白发生、选育低(无)垩白的优质稻新品种提供科学依据。研究结果如下: 1、佳辐占自开花14天后开始直至成熟的籽粒胚乳细胞淀粉粒呈多面体形、排列紧密、没有空隙,因而未见到...Chalkiness means white opaque part of the rice endosperm and is one of the important indicators of rice quality.
