在汉语教学与研究中，插入语(又称独立语)一直以来没有得到足够的重视。究其原因，主要是插入语不作句子成分，也不与句子中各个成分发生结构上的关系，往往被当作句子中可有可无的成分，忽略了它的表意作用和篇章连接功能。本文侧重从语言篇章教学的角度，在比较汉语母语者与留学生插入语使用的基础上指出：插入语是语言表达中的重要成分。没有插入语介入，在交际中就会出现话语断层，语言态度模糊，语言信息不明等现象，从而引起交际偏差，深入地进行插入语研究并将之应用于语言教学实践，具有重要意义。由于以往插入语本体研究的不足，在语言教学特别是对外汉语教学中，插入语这一语言项目的教学存在一些缺陷。本文通过对留学生汉语插入语使用...In the Chinese teaching and researching in the past, parenthesis haven’t been paid reasonable attention.
