Investigations of Nucleation Mechanism in Initial Period for Direct Electroless Nickel-boron Plating on Magnesium Alloy and Electrochemical Properties of Plating Solution

Abstract

镁合金具有优良的性能,但是其耐蚀性差的特点限制了在生产和生活方面的广泛应用。本文研究了前处理后镁合金表面状态的变化,并利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、划痕试验以及电化学方法等技术综合表征在最优工艺条件下获得的镀层的形貌、结构、结合力和耐蚀性等性能。采用元素分析和镀层形貌相结合的方法探讨镀层初期形核机理。运用电化学手段,利用循环伏安技术研究了不同镀液组分浓度以及不同电极表面对镀液电化学性能的影响。 研究结果表明酸洗处理后,镁合金表面获得了一层银白色且具有网状结构的氧化膜。优化的工艺条件下获得的镀层表面呈胞状结构,致密,无明显的表面裂纹。由截面SEM图看出镀层与基体附着紧密...Magnesium alloy has excellent capabilities, but its widespread applications are restricted by its poor corrosion resistance.
