Research on Iron and Aluminum in Kaolin by Bleaching and Calcining and Its Mechanism of Whitening

Abstract

高岭土是一种重要的粘土矿物,因其本身具有的优良性能,被广泛应用于陶瓷、造纸等多个行业中。这些行业对高岭土的白度都有一定的要求。高岭土增白方法中,保险粉漂白法和添加氯化铵煅烧增白法是目前研究中最经济有效的方法,但是涉及的增白机理尚不完全清楚。研究高岭土的增白机理,可为高岭土的加工工艺和提高产品质量提供理论指导。本文基于高岭土中不同种类的铁铝含量测试方法的研究,探讨化学漂白、煅烧温度及增白剂种类和添加量对高岭土矿物特征、白度和铁铝的影响规律,系统分析其增白机理。主要研究结果如下: 1、采用分光光度法测得龙岩铁染高岭土的总铁含量为0.726%±0.016%,可溶铁含量为0.161%±0.012%;...Kaolin is an important clay mineral, which has been widely used in ceramics, paper and other industry departments because of its excellent performance.
