张拉整体结构是一种新兴的非主流结构型式，也是国际新型空间结构发展的热点。它完全颠覆了传统结构必须保证压力通过有刚度构件连续传递的力学逻辑，在不依赖外部任何条件（包括重力）的情况下，仅由结构内部连续受拉和分离受压的两种结构构件实现自应力自平衡。 本文基于西方学者研究的基础上，首先就张拉整体结构的基本概念、历史起源、结构原理一一进行介绍。其次对张拉整体结构进行分门别类，并在分析类张拉整体——索穹顶的基础上进一步明确了二者的界限。再次通过大量的模型、雕塑和分析图例，以尽可能地展现张拉整体结构独特的美学特征。最后，在分析现今众多称之为或被称之为是张拉整体结构的设计和方案的基础上，提出了一座步行桥梁设...Tensegrity is a rising and atypical kind of structure, and is also an international hot spot of the development of a new type of spatial structure.
