Proteomic response of a dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella to nutrient limitation and addition

Abstract

链状亚历山大藻(Alexandriumcatenella)是一种广泛分布的有毒甲藻,不仅能形成大规模的有害藻华,还可合成和生产麻痹性毒素引起生物麻痹性中毒,严重威胁到海洋生态系统稳定、生物资源可持续利用和人类健康及生命财产安全。因而亚历山大藻藻华及其毒素成为当前有害藻华研究的一个重要领域。 本文以链状亚历山大藻为研究对象,运用双向电泳技术结合生物质谱分析,研究了氮、磷营养盐限制和补充条件下链状亚历山大藻蛋白质组的差异表达,确认、鉴定了差异表达蛋白,并对其功能进行了分析,初步筛选了指示细胞营养状态的蛋白质生物标志物,探讨了链状亚历山大藻对营养盐限制和补充的响应机理。主要研究结果如下: 1.链...Alexandrium catenella is a widespread dinoflagellate species which not only produces paralytic shellfish toxins resulting in paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP), but also causes harmful algal blooms (HABs).
