摘要 当下中国的高等教育在传统与现实的结合中背负着双重压力。一方面表现为“学而优则仕”所导致的学历至上主义；另一方面，功利主义和绩效责任所引发的教育市场化、产业化，要求大学实现效益与效率的最大化，使其具有职业训练、产品加工的特性。大学，尤其是研究型大学倘若丧失了培养“全人”的理念，失去了“精神象牙塔”的阵地，成为“制造工具的工厂”，必将导致高校为社会发展培养人才的链条失去“韧性”，面临价值观扭曲的危险。因此，发展通识教育，回归大学之道，成为高等教育改革与发展的当务之急。 欧美国家的通识教育起步早，发展较为成熟。近年来，亚洲国家、香港和台湾地区的大学都在积极探索符合国家和地区特色的本科教育新...Abstract The present higher education in China is bearing double pressure in the combination of tradition and reality.
