目前，“文化转向”已成为近年冷战史研究的热点，主要关注冷战态势、庶民生活与社会文化的关系。本文利用厦门大学档案馆馆藏档案，选取1958-1966年厦大民兵师为研究对象，揭示军事化对厦门大学所产生的意义以及冷战态势与校园军事化之间的联系。首先，叙述厦门大学民兵师的建制及其发展，其中包括民兵师的建立和变化以及民兵师的政治教育。其次，梳理校园军事化状态下的日常时间再分配和军事化空间布局。最后，考察冷战态势下的特殊校园文化，分析民兵“英雄”形象的政治塑造及其文艺作品的表达。At present, “culture orientation” has become a hot spot in the field of Cold War history research.
