英文摘要：The correct is premise to the information on diagnosis by the feature of tongue in TCM. This paper starts from position and segmentation of tongue image and assumes using histogram equilibrium to deal with collected image because of flaw of threshold algorithm and prior knowledge in the course of extraction of contour of tongue, and then amending initial contour of the body of tongue by a geometric method according to the prior knowledge about shape and position of the tongue, which overcomes the edge influence on lip
