I primi due progetti dal medesimo titolo, TRITON, affrontano con diverso grado di approfondimento il medesimo evento che, di carattere per lo più sonoro, concepito per una durata di sette giorni, avrebbe dovuto coinvolgere l'intera città di Bonn, a partire dal fiume, su cui avrebbe transitato una chiatta che ospitava l'orchestra. Sarebbe stata una forma di un omaggio al grande compositore Beethoven non soltanto sotto il profilo sonoro/ambientale ma anche visivo, poiché nel progetto viene dato largo spazio e rilievo anche a questo aspetto.
LA LUCE DEL SUONO, progetto di “un concerto di luci e di suoni” che avrebbe dovuto coinvolgere una vasta zona del fiume e terreni limitrofi al Danubio, concepito da Mosconi nel 1984 e presentato per l'edizione del 1986 della rassegna “Ars Electronica” di Linz è frutto dello sviluppo successivo di una parte dello stesso nucleo immaginativo che ha dato forma a TRITON.The first two projects of the same title, TRITON, deal, on a different level of detail, with the same event that, mainly involving sound, designed for a duration of seven days, would have involved the entire city of Bonn, stating from the river, on which he passed on a barge that housed the orchestra.
