RATIONAL MINING OF UNIQUE OIL- AND GAS CONDENSATE DEPOSITS IN CARBONATE COLLECTORS

Abstract

A methodology and methodical principles of developing unique oil- and gas condensate deposits in carbonate collectors (Astrakhan, Vyktylsk, Orenburg, and others) with the aim of achieving maximum profitableness of component yield at their operation have been devised. The methods of designing three-dimensional filtration of multiphase fluids with the Monte Carlo statistical method used have been created; the methods of this kind are not available in the world. The geologo-mathematical three-dimensional models of the Astrakhan, Karachaganaksk and a number of other unique deposits have been constructed. The laws of changing the compositions of the fluids in productive reservoirs have been revealed for the considered deposits for the first time; the criteria of exploiting the deposits for depletion and with the seam pressure maintained have been substantiated. The application of the theoretical developments to the particular deposits (Orenburg, Karachaganaksk, Tengyz, and others) has made it possible to determine the strategy of their development, with the ecologic limitations under the market relations conditions considered.
