Abstract

Dusts with particle size smaller than 2.5 #mu#m are hazardous to human health. Pollution sources are industrial processes, furnaces, power plants and traffic. Pollution limits will be lowered in ther European Union in 2005. Reduction of particulate emissions in Bavaria should be achieved by pollution control equipment in power plants and automobiles.
