• 12.3 million people are victims of forced labour
• more than 2.4 million have been trafficked
• 9.8 million are exploited by private agents
• 2.5 million are forced to work by the state or by rebel military groups

• Industrialized countries (Europe, USA) - 270,000
• Latin America and Caribbean - 250,000

• Sub Saharan Africa - 130,000
TRAFFICKED FORCED LABOUR BY FORM
• 43% of those trafficked are used for forced commercial sexual exploitation
• 32% of the trafficked victims are used for forced economic exploitation
• 25% of victims are trafficked for a mixture of the above or for undetermined reasons
