A special meeting was held on the 11th February, 1929,
at the Society's Rooms, Tasmanian Museum, Hobart, the
President of the Society, Sir James O'Grady, K.C.M.G.,
presiding.
Major Giblin gave an address, "Beetles and Kings, A
Programme for Tasmania," after which a vote of thanks
was moved by His Excellency and seconded by Dr. A. H.
Clarke. At the conclusion of the meeting a conversazione
was held in the Art Gallery
