Extended inflation theory

Abstract

The extended inflation theory is a model inflation scenario in a background of modified gravity in which the gravitation constant varies in time. In this thesis, it is shown that a modification of Einsteinian gravity is crucial in realizing the inflationary scenario in the most natural way
