Russian.polish interlingual homonymy as a lexicographical problem

Abstract

Niniejszy artykuł wpisuje się w nurt badań poświęconych problematyce tzw. homonimii/paronimii międzyjęzykowej w aspekcie leksykograficznym. Część wstępna poświęcona jest zagadnieniu homonimii wewnątrzjęzykowej jako uniwersalium językowemu oraz zdefiniowaniu pojęcia tzw. homonimii/paronimii międzyjęzykowej, kwestionowanej przez niektórych badaczy. Dalsza część artykułu zawiera próbę opisu leksykograficznego rosyjsko-­polskich paraleli językowych pozostających w relacjach homonimicznych. Zebrany materiał językowy świadczy o występowaniu wspomnianych związków na różnych poziomach struktury języka – w warstwie leksykalnej, połączeniach wyrazowych oraz na płaszczyźnie frazeologicznej. Zaproponowana przez autorów struktura hasła słownikowego może być pomocna w sporządzaniu dwujęzycznych słowników uwzględniających również paralele językowe o charakterze homonimicznym.This article contributes to the current reasearch of the so-called interlingual homonymy/paronymy in the lexicographical aspect.The introductory part is devoted to the issues of homonymy within a language as a linguistic universalium and defining the concepts of interlingual homonymy/paronymy as questioned by some researchers.The rest of the article examines the Russo-Polish lexical parallels in the language that remain in the homonymous relations. The collected material is evident of the occurrence in the language these compounds at various levels of language structure – both lexical and phraseological. As proposed by the authors, the structure of a dictionary entry can be helpful in the preparation of bilingual dictionaries, taking also into account linguistic parallels of a homonymic nature
