Abstract

Thanks to Joaquim Carreras Neto between 1864 and 1884 and Maurici Hernández Ponsetí between 1885 and 1932 we have been able to analyse the rainfall volume and frequency in Maó during a period of 70 years. Here we want to present all the data they collected and the instruments they used as well as their life, not just as observers but as pioneers in their field
