Este artículo trata sobre el tema de la identidad personal, en su dimensión colectiva (en las discusiones científicas y en las filosóficas) como personal. Debido a esto, se recaban antecedentes teóricos afines, evaluarlos y ver los puntos posibles de intersección entre ellos. Se desea aportar al campo de la filosofía de las ciencias sociales, con la contribución conceptual que ha aparecido en la teoría de la identidad nacional. Teoría que se apoya en aportes fundamentales como los de la etnopsicología en Anthony D. Smith y de etnografía y teoría literaria de Benedict Anderson. Por otra parte, se recurre a algunas ideas de filósofos para dialogar con sus propias perspectivas sobre el tema.This article deals with the issue of personal identity, both in its colective (in scientifics and philosophical discussions) as in its individual dimensions. Because of this, theoretical antecedents, similar to the issue, are collected to assess them, also to recognize possible points of intersection. It’s my goal to bring the conceptual effort appeared inside the national identity theory to the field of social sciences’ philosophy. This theory is supported by the fundamental aids from ethno-psychology of Anthony D. Smith and ethnography and literature theory of Benedict Anderson. Besides, we request some ideas from philosophers in order to dialogue with their own perspectives on the issue
