Hermann Cohen: Una lectura ética del mesianismo

Abstract

El presente artículo intenta desarrollar el pensamiento de Cohen sobre el mesianismo, mostrando el encuentro entre religión y filosofía práctica desde una peculiar mirada, que luego será heredada por autores como Rosenzweig y Levinas. El judaísmo como la religión de la razón y, por tanto, como la fuente de la moralidad. A nuestro juicio, Cohen realiza una lectura judía de la ética kantiana. Hacia el final, intentaremos realizar una crítica al carácter puramente ético (y no político) del pensamiento de Cohen.This article attempts to develop the thinking of Cohen on messianism, showing the meeting between religion and practical philosophy from a peculiar look, which is then inherited by authors such as Rosenzweig and Levinas.
