En aquest treball es presenta una proposta didàctica per aprendre un model per a l'estructura atòmica a 3r o 4t d'ESO.
La construcció del model es duu a terme a partir de l'estudi de diverses situacions rellevants per a l'alumnat (contextos).
Es justifica una seqüència d'activitats diverses que ajuden l'alumnat a contextualitzar, descontextualitzar i
recontextualitzar les noves idees clau que s'estructuren entorn del model teòric sobre l'estructura atòmica. També
es discuteix una proposta de progressió d'aprenentatge per a l'estructura nuclear i electrònica de l'àtom des de l'educació primària fins a la postobligatòria.This paper presents a teaching sequence to learn a model for the atomic structure for 15-year-old students. The
construction of the model is carried out through the study of relevant situations for students (contexts). The
sequence of activities is justified by explaining how they help students to contextualize, de-contextualize and recontextualize
new key ideas that are structured around the theoretical model of atomic structure. We also discuss
a learning progression for the electronic and nuclear structure of the atom from primary school to post-compulsory education
